I have been going to Ava nails for years and they have always provided excellent service. Everyone is very nice and the staff is great at what they do, especially Yumi who always makes my nails look perfect!! Lee is also great at the front desk and always super helpful. I have recommended many friends to go to Ava and they all have the same great experience!
Best nail salon ever! They treat you like royalty and give an amazing shoulder massage after nails/pedi are done! Hot stones are used for regular pedi massage! I love this place and my nail tech Jennifer was so wonderful!
Yumi is the best 👌 She takes the time to make my shape perfect! I will NEVER go to anyone else. They use CND Brisa Gel and OPI gel as well. All quality products and excellent service 🤗
I am absolutely mortified to be dragging a small business but here I am. My parents gave me a $50 gift card. It appears that whoever sold them the gift card never swiped the magnetic strip. When I went to use it for the first time today, there was nothing on it. I dealt directly with Lee who refused to do anything productive to remedy this issue. As a mom with 3 young children, it is rare that I have extra childcare and money to go get my nails done. When I did, this is where I always went. My parents will be disputing this charge with their bank/ credit card company. Update: Issue resolved. Unfortunately not by Ava's. My parents' bank ended up putting the money back in their account and marked it as a non-deliverable transaction.
Update.. I changed my review to 3 stars, I was upset but everyone makes mistakes and they were going to fix them the next day. They all seem very nice there and I should not of giving 1 star. I wish everyone there peace, love and happiness. My 8yr old daughter was so excited to go with my girlfriend and get her nails done. She against my better judgment, got gel and chrome, and the word lucky charm on them. This place I used to go to all the time (a few years back)in the summer for pedicures but last summer I went twice, once for a pedicure and once for a gel manicure which started coming off within two days. Well after my friend spent $40 (the same amount on my daughter’s nails as her own adult size nails) I look at them and realize that the words are spelled completely backwards, and switched around MRAHC YKCUL. We just got home a few hours after she’s got them done and she literally just peeled them off with in five minutes because she does not want anybody to make fun of her tomorrow at school! I did go back and say something, the woman who did not apologize told me that my daughter said they’re OK…because she’s eight and she’s looking at them upside down. She did tell me that I could come back tomorrow to get them fixed. I don’t usually write reviews, but I am very irritated right now and we will probably not be going back. My girlfriend who took her actually went there a week ago and got a gel manicure and the edges were coming off within a couple days. Five days after her appointment, she went back to make another appointment and told them. I guess their sign that says that they guarantee them for two weeks isn’t true because they charged her $40 again even though she just got the gels done last week. Sorry about my rant. I’m just really irritated right now that they charged my girlfriend $40 for my daughter’s little nails and that they charge her $40 for hers when it’s only been a week. I know my daughter is not going back there. I also know the next time she gets her nails done Sherri is not getting gel because in my opinion eight year olds are way too young for gel nails! Rant over!!
